About The Position

This is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support People Corporation's continued growth by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent. This role offers the opportunity to manage full-cycle recruitment, build meaningful relationships with hiring leaders and candidates, and contribute to a best-in-class recruitment experience. The successful candidate will be curious, proactive, and eager to learn the business while serving as a trusted recruitment partner and ambassador for People Corporation's employer brand.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in an in-house corporate Talent Acquisition environment, or an equivalent combination of agency and in-house recruitment experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple requisitions and hiring managers simultaneously within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Demonstrated client centricity through strong stakeholder partnerships, consultation, and a genuine investment in understanding the business and its talent needs.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management skills.
  • Experience managing recruitment processes within Workday or similar applicant tracking system (ATS) is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other talent attraction platforms to identify and engage qualified candidates.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with hiring leaders and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Workday Recruiting and/or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) is required.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting sales, insurance, financial services, or professional services roles.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or acquisitive organization.
  • CHRP, CPHR, RPR, or progress toward a professional HR or recruitment designation.
  • Bilingualism (English/French).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a portfolio of positions across the organization, from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, job boards, referrals, networking, and other talent attraction channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring ongoing engagement with prospective candidates.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand business objectives, workforce needs, and role requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with hiring goals.
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing market insights and recommendations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted recruitment partner and advisor.
  • Serve as an ambassador for People Corporation by promoting our culture, values, employee experience, and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and a high level of service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information, recruitment activity, and reporting within Workday Recruiting.
  • Provide insights on talent market trends, sourcing strategies, and compensation considerations to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Partner with other pillars across Human Resources department and hiring leaders on compensation recommendations while supporting internal and external equity practices.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance overall recruitment effectiveness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen talent acquisition programs, processes, and the candidate experience.
