The company offers a uniquely innovative approach to selling relevant solutions to schools we call “the complete thought.” We are looking for an experienced, "human-first" Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team part-time in our Huntington Station Office Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will own the talent acquisition process from end-to-end. At Teq, we don't just fill requisitions; we build the teams that empower the next generation of learners. You will be responsible for finding high-quality, passionate talent for a variety of roles. This is an on-site position based in our Huntington Station, NY office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle mutli-stateTalent Acquisition experience (in-house experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Foundational knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write engaging, authentic candidate correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for the education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from drafting job descriptions and sourcing to offer negotiations and onboarding.
  • Utilize proactive methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates, focusing on quality and cultural alignment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates, ensuring an authentic and professional experience that reflects our "human-first" brand.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to understand their unique needs and provide data-driven updates on the talent market.
  • Maintain our ATS with high attention to detail and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the Teq Team.
  • Act as a versatile resource for the HR department, assisting with special projects, administrative audits, or employee engagement initiatives as needed to support the overall health of the Teq workforce.
