The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is a contract position supporting the Microelectronics Division. The primary focus will be on recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and contractor roles. This position involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, developing talent pipelines, collaborating with staffing vendors, and ensuring the timely placement of qualified candidates to fuel business expansion. The role reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, and works closely with hiring managers, procurement, HR, and external staffing partners to meet workforce demands across various Microelectronics sites. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter adept at direct sourcing, vendor management, and contractor coordination within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing staffing agencies, contingent labor programs, and contractor populations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar ATS platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and operational positions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for specialized and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define candidate profiles, and drive efficient hiring processes.
  • Coordinate staffing vendors and recruiting agencies, including requisition management, candidate submissions, interview scheduling, and hiring decisions.
  • Support contractor workforce administration, including onboarding, extensions, conversions, and offboarding activities.
  • Conduct candidate screening and behavioral interviews to assess qualifications and organizational fit.
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and vendor performance to support continuous improvement and workforce planning.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the applicant tracking system and related reporting tools.
  • Support onboarding activities to ensure successful integration of new employees and contingent workers.
