This is a temporary contract position. We are looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter. You’ll be the first point of contact for candidates— the introduction to our culture, values, and opportunities. This is a high-impact role where your conversations can shape careers and truly make a difference in people’s lives. Serving as a vital link between hiring managers and prospective talent, you'll recruit for a wide range of positions, from Warehouse Associates to Heads of Facility, giving you exposure to diverse teams and business areas, and a wide variety of daily responsibilities. This role is onsite 5 days/week located in our Santa Fe Springs office. A.P. Moller - Maersk is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customer's supply chains. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Candidate-centric mindset
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in an ever-changing work environment is a must.
  • Proven track record working in a fast paced, volume hiring environment.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday experience strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified warehouse candidates.
  • Initiate contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings via resume applications and cold calling via proactive headhunting efforts.
  • Conduct interviews to determine qualifications and decide on applicability to roles within the company.
  • Manage postings in the ATS, on company websites, and job boards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and activity in the ATS.
  • Coordinate interviews between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Facilitate candidate offers.
  • Initiate background checks and drug screens.
  • Handle administrative tasks required as part of the hiring process.
