About The Position

OPENLANE is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team. This role is responsible for hiring top talent for the organization, with a focus on strategic and hiring support, relationship building, and full-cycle recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and full-cycle recruitment for strategic leadership and high complexity operations positions across Canada. The Talent Acquisition Partner will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to hiring managers, anticipating their needs and delivering innovative, data-driven solutions. They will also be responsible for developing strategies to engage passive talent, acting as a brand ambassador, and excelling in talent identification, attraction, and delivering a positive candidate experience. The role requires understanding the vision and business objectives as they relate to Talent Acquisition, influencing and executing recruiting strategies, and actively seeking to understand internal and external customers to drive improvements in the recruiting process. The position involves acting with urgency and ownership, setting realistic goals, and ensuring the quality of the recruitment process through proper system utilization and record keeping.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of success in full-cycle recruitment, with primary focus on leadership positions, high touch complex positions, and strategic initiatives for organizational design and hiring alignment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian provincial employment law and compliance best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and maintain rapid throughput.
  • Solid Computer skills, including Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Workday.
  • Track record of developing partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with an innate ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities.
  • A demonstrated desire to learn specific business needs and success criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle process for strategic high-impact placements and leadership/executive level hiring.
  • Establish relationships with candidates through social networking, industry relationships, internal and external referrals, and other means.
  • Ensure all job postings, communications, and hiring processes comply with specific provincial labor standards and bilingual laws.
  • Partner with team members and leadership on special projects to build and sustain strategies to continuously deliver a high level of customer service to the organization and meet goals and objectives.
  • Effectively partner with Operations managers to manage candidate flow, set realistic expectations, and minimize administrative bottlenecks.
  • Consistently flag regional performance data (Time to Fill, regional turnover spikes, bilingual candidate sourcing success) to the TA leader for strategic workforce planning.
  • Develop specialized sourcing strategies (e.g., industry-specific networking, passive outreach) to build pipelines for key positions, reducing reactive fulfillment.
