The Talent Partner I supports the Division’s recruiting efforts by sourcing candidates, serving as a primary point of contact, and building strong relationships with internal and external candidates throughout the selection process to position Memphis Light, Gas and Water as a top employer in Shelby County.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.
  • Social media experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, process documentation skills, and awareness of industry trends are required.
  • Requires proficiency in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Post vacancies, screen and interview candidates, and negotiate salary offers.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and staffing documents for HR partners and hiring managers, and support execution of recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify hiring practices and talent gaps.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for the division.
  • Partner with HR and managers to develop candidate profiles and sourcing strategies.
  • Track hiring metrics and report data to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop the division’s recruitment narrative.
  • Participate in community outreach, job fairs, and college recruiting events.
  • Complete special projects and participate in continuous learning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
