About The Position

The Talent Acquisition & Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the successful workforce activation and opening of Yee Hong’s new long-term care home anticipated to open in November/December 2026. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role combines high-volume recruitment expertise with talent marketing, employer branding, and community outreach to support workforce readiness during a significant period of organizational growth and operational transformation. Approximately 50% of the role focuses on proactive talent marketing, digital recruitment campaigns, community engagement, and candidate pipeline development designed to strengthen workforce attraction and position Yee Hong as an employer of choice within the long-term care and healthcare sectors. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, employer branding, workforce outreach, or marketing.
  • Experience using ATS platforms, recruitment technologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, and content development.
  • Experience managing social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Proficiency with marketing and design tools such as Canva
  • Ability to analyze marketing metrics, campaign performance, engagement trends, and recruitment or brand analytics.
  • Knowledge of branding, storytelling, audience engagement, and campaign development.
  • Successful applicants must provide a recent satisfactory vulnerable sector police reference check and medical clearance certificate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, long-term care, community services, or high-volume recruitment environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale recruitment initiatives, organizational growth, or new site/program openings considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of culturally responsive recruitment and community engagement strategies preferred.
  • Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support workforce readiness and activation plans leading up to the opening of the new long-term care home.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities aligned with operational milestones, orientation schedules, onboarding timelines, and resident move-in readiness.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned portfolios including management, clinical, administration, programs, environmental services, and support service roles.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and selection processes using behavioural and values-based interviewing techniques.
  • Deliver a positive, responsive, and respectful candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Support large-scale hiring initiatives including virtual hiring events, community recruitment campaigns, speed hiring events, and onsite recruitment activities.
  • Support recruitment marketing initiatives tied to the launch and opening of the new home, helping build workforce excitement and community awareness.
  • Assist in promoting Yee Hong’s relationship-centred care model, workplace culture, career opportunities, and organizational values through digital and community outreach strategies.
  • Develop engaging recruitment content for social media, hiring campaigns, job postings, career fairs, and community events.
  • Collaborate with Communications and People Department leaders to strengthen Yee Hong’s employer brand across digital, cultural, and community channels.
  • Represent Yee Hong at community events, cultural outreach initiatives, healthcare networking events, job fairs, and campus recruitment activities.
  • Support outreach initiatives focused on culturally diverse, multilingual, student, and early-career talent communities.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for roles required to support the successful opening and stabilization of the new home.
  • Re-engage former applicants, referred candidates, students, and passive talent to support ongoing workforce needs.
  • Develop candidate engagement strategies including hiring event follow-ups, talent communications, pipeline nurturing, and community outreach.
  • Partner with the Student Experience Coordinator to support student placement transitions and future employment pathways.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, recruitment reporting, and workforce tracking.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and support recruitment metrics, reporting, and workforce readiness insights.
  • Utilize recruitment technologies, social media platforms, and outreach analytics to monitor campaign effectiveness, sourcing trends, candidate engagement, and recruitment KPIs.
  • Support reporting related to vacancy trends, time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, outreach ROI, and recruitment campaign outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruitment processes, operational efficiency, and candidate experience.
  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers, operational leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide recruitment market insights, workforce trends, and hiring recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the People Department, Communications, onboarding teams, and operational leaders to support workforce planning and organizational readiness initiatives.
