About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (contract) is responsible for providing an outstanding full lifecycle recruiting process by sourcing, identifying, attracting, and securing high quality candidates to fulfill current and future business needs. They will develop a strong pipeline of candidates through networking, direct sourcing, internet mining and applicant tracking tools. The Talent Acquisition Specialist (contract) works with key stakeholder to identify sources, develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This is a contract position that will be home-based/remote position.

Requirements

  • Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in human resources within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with experience in full cycle recruiting.
  • Experience with UKG and/or Applicant tracking systems.
  • Highly experienced in a variety of search mediums or sourcing channels to fill hard to fill and critical openings.
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Manage and organize conflicting priorities and propose solutions as appropriate.
  • Strong written communication skills as well ability to present information verbally in small group situations.
  • Excellent PC skills, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications with a focus on Excel.
  • Able to express oneself clearly and convincingly in writing, one-on-one and in groups with all levels of management, employees and customers.
  • Customer-centric approach with personal drive and energy to commit towards achieving company goals.
  • Ability to listen and respond to information effectively and to give and receive feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Creatively sources for open roles and pipeline efforts, using multiple channels to recruit candidates, which may include but is not limited to target companies, colleges, association meetings, industry meetings, diversity organizations, job fairs, internet, and employee referrals.
  • Identifies passive candidates through the use of databases, Boolean logic searches, LinkedIn and social media to identify potential candidates.
  • Partners with internal business leaders to understand business objectives and the resources needed to effectively source candidates for current openings and develop a bench strength pool.
  • Proactively builds relationships with potential candidates, creating a robust pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future staffing needs.
  • Conducts candidate screenings and qualification interviews.
  • Utilizes and maintains applicant tracking system, understands the candidate flow process and the importance of metrics.
  • Leads interview team debrief process with hiring managers to calibrate candidates and refine sourcing plan as necessary.
  • Negotiates offers of employment to qualified candidates.
  • Tracks and generates activity reports for management.
  • Trains and provides hiring managers with counsel, materials and support interviewing and selection best practices.
  • Coordinates interview schedules to ensure candidate and hiring managers meet in a timely manner.
  • Serves as subject matter expert while influencing, guiding and driving the recruiting process.
  • Maintains recruiting dashboards for all recruiting related activities to assess performance against required metrics.
  • Serves as an internal consultant to ensure that job descriptions and posting accurately represent core responsibilities and requirements for positions.
  • Maintains EEO and Veterans reporting and ensures recruitment practices are aligned to legal requirements.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and uses the most current market data in strategy planning and execution.
  • Obtains necessary pre-hire documentation from candidates and provides data to third party background organization to confirm prior work experience, certifications, or other job-specific credentials required for the position.
  • Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Benefits

  • Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
