About The Position

GHD is seeking a challenging opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead talent acquisition in Canada and support strategic recruitment. This role involves partnering within the broader talent acquisition network to drive change, build capabilities, and ensure the selection of top talent. As a strategic partner, you will influence senior stakeholders, tackle complex challenges, and align talent management strategies with GHD's long-term objectives. In addition to leading the Canadian talent acquisition team, you will support strategic recruitment initiatives and/or lead a regional talent acquisition team within the country, collaborating globally to drive strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience in leading teams through transformational change in talent acquisition at a regional and national level.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of aligning with business objectives.
  • Advanced experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Oracle Cloud Recruiter, a plus) and in-depth knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Demonstrated strategic sourcing and development of non-traditional candidate pipelines.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).

  • Provide training to hiring managers on interviewing, candidate assessment, inclusive hiring, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive transformation and capability-building initiatives across Canada and the broader region to accelerate the impact and influence of the talent acquisition team.
  • Anticipate business needs and design solutions that overcome complexity and unlock new opportunities.
  • Optimize policies and processes to ensure compliance, scalability, and an exceptional experience for candidates and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by aligning talent acquisition priorities with organizational objectives and future opportunities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategies, measure outcomes, and continuously improve internal client service.
  • Promote inclusive recruitment and support programs that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across Canada.
