About The Position

MassMutual New Mexico is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and community-connected Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help identify, attract, and retain exceptional talent for our growing organization. This is a critical role in expanding our advisor and professional staff teams by leveraging strong networking skills, local community relationships, and modern recruiting technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter. The ideal candidate is well-connected throughout the Albuquerque and New Mexico business community, possesses a strong work ethic, and thrives in a relationship-driven environment. This role requires someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional relationships, and creating a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. This role has two distinct responsibilities: The primary focus is to attract top talent to MassMutual New Mexico. The second is to retain that talent and assist in their onboarding process through career contract status.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and social recruiting strategies.
  • Well-established professional network within the Albuquerque and New Mexico business community.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate referrals through networking.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and interviewing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Experience working with JobScore

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify and engage high-quality talent.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Build relationships with local business leaders, community organizations, universities, professional associations, and networking groups to generate candidate referrals.
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and career motivations.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Promote and strengthen MassMutual New Mexico's employer brand throughout the community and online.
  • Track recruiting activity and candidate progress through recruitment systems and reporting tools.
  • Attend networking events, career fairs, community events, and industry functions to increase brand awareness and talent attraction efforts.
  • Partner with leadership to execute recruiting strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
