The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and hiring all line level positions for a five diamond, 305 room property with 850+ associates. First point of contact for all line level employment inquiries. The Recruiter will screen applicants according to established job descriptions and profiles. Will conduct interviews that gauge compatibility with essential functions of Ojai Valley Inn positions while assessing each candidate’s ability/willingness to learn and adhere to the highest standards of service. Review all incoming applications. Oversee open interview process. Make contingent job offers. Communicate NTY “No Thank You” letters and calls with assistance from HR Administrative Assistant. Conduct pre-employment background and reference checks. Monitor New Associate Orientation sign-ups. Participate in the following: on-site and off-site job fair attendance and planning, update current job openings, create collateral material as well as advertising for open positions via web-based promotions, newspapers, career centers, schools, fliers and other creative methods as recruitment needs require, monitor recruitment expenses and invoices.
