About The Position

Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process within allocated business segments in accordance with employment laws and guidelines. Establish collaborative relationships with HRBPs, operational and hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and challenges. Deliver qualified candidates to hiring leaders by leveraging the talent acquisition process, online/offline tools, and resources. Regular/Monthly business reviews with the Director Talent Acquisition, Manager Talent Acquisition, and department operational leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience required

  • Experience in staffing/recruitment and business partner experience.
  • Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
  • May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
  • Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement the LKQ talent acquisition process by setting clear expectations with hiring managers, building market talent pools, coaching the hiring team on selective/behavioral interview techniques, that will impact current and future hiring needs.
  • Review job descriptions to understand the needs of hiring managers and facilitate intake meetings asking relevant questions to help identify the right candidate(s).
  • Write or enhance job descriptions in order to make them more market friendly
  • Effectively use marketing channels for promotion of each position while championing the LKQ Proud message.
  • Pursue a broad understanding of the LKQ and all aspects of the business lines within the group, division and/or region being supported, including core competencies/skill sets, managers/HR Business Partners, and turnover/retention data on a wholistic scale.
  • Leverage your understanding of the marketplace to assist hiring managers set realistic expectations of candidate skills, experience, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to maintain a book of business and identify top level talent through aggressive sourcing methods which include internet research, networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, associations, and other sources as needed to hire for technical, professional, early career, and Sr. level requisitions.
  • Research, recommend, and manage several sources/partnerships/POCs for active and passive candidate recruiting while developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of a need.
  • Conduct screening and selection interviews that follow company guidelines, meet legal requirements, and gather job appropriate candidate information.
  • Communicate regularly with hiring managers to establish rapport, provide status updates, determine the effectiveness of recruiting campaigns and implementation.
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute feedback to candidates, hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leaders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Share knowledge and identify opportunities for candidates (internal and external) to assist them in their professional development.
  • Motivate candidates and provide appropriate direction and advice that may impact career decisions.
  • Ability to own hiring leader partnerships from recruitment start to finish using data to drive decision making – including marketing campaigns, outreach to diversity partners, requalifying requisitions when needed, and hiring.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
