We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Talent Acquisition Advisor to help us attract exceptional talent across technical and corporate teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, uncovering hidden talent, and playing a key role in shaping a growing organization. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and the People Operations team to identify, engage, and deliver top candidates while helping create an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through offer stage. Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition, ideally within technical, engineering, manufacturing, or related environments.
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms/tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally and confidently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (Dayforce experience is considered an asset).
  • Understanding of recruitment metrics, hiring processes, and employment practices.
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity, initiative, and a passion for finding great talent.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally connected environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of recruitment and sourcing strategies to meet both immediate and long-term hiring needs.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned roles, including job postings, resume screening, candidate outreach, interview coordination, and reference checks.
  • Proactively source and engage active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other creative sourcing methods.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience through timely communication and strong relationship management.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the ATS while ensuring compliance with privacy and data handling standards.
  • Help build and maintain talent pipelines for technical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Contribute ideas and market insights to continuously improve recruiting strategies, processes, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Support recruitment reporting, metrics tracking, and talent market research.
  • Stay informed on local employment legislation, hiring trends, and recruitment best practices.
  • Represent OSI as a brand ambassador and help showcase our culture, values, and career opportunities.
