Under the supervision of the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Advisor provides expert advice and guidance on talent acquisition policies, practices, and procedures to the university community. The person is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for management, professional, and administrative positions, including both unionized and non-unionized roles. The Talent Acquisition Advisor partners closely with hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and offer negotiations, while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, collective agreements, and applicable legislation. In addition, the person leads and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience. The person also participates in the planning and delivery of special projects and events coordinated by Human Resources, supporting broader organizational and strategic objectives. The Talent Acquisition Advisor proactively identifies, develops, and implements innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable talent acquisition solutions to attract, engage, and retain top talent in a complex and evolving environment.
