About The Position

The Take Out position handles takeout service for guests and ensures that takeout guidelines, specifications, quality, and service standards are met. The role requires attentive, courteous communication with guests, including answering phone calls and responding politely to questions. The employee receives, processes, and manages takeout and delivery orders, assembles and packages orders to prevent spills, leaks, or damage during transportation, processes payments, and reconciles sales at the end of each shift. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Ability to handle guest incidents and complaints.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Assemble and package orders using techniques that prevent spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
• Process takeout payments, including cash, credit/debit, and digital payments.
• Handle cash accurately and properly reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
