About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to develop software and systems from initial vision through production in an agile environment. The role involves mastering new tools and techniques, identifying system improvements, and helping clients address challenging problems using current architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. The developer will ensure that solutions account for the existing architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software programming experience with object-oriented languages, including Java.
• At least 2 years of experience with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing TAK Server plugins.
• Experience developing with the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit.
• Experience developing native Android applications.
• Experience profiling UI, memory, and concurrency on Android.
• Experience with Android distributions and software development kits.
• Experience with Mission Data Packages and Geo Servers.
• Experience with on-device database management using SQLite.
• Experience with mobile technologies, including cellular and wireless.
• Experience with WinTAK and TAK X.
