About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Tagalog Teacher for a client in Memphis, United States. This is a one-to-one general language course with a total of 30 hours, consisting of two-hour sessions twice per week. The lessons are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm at The Benjamin Hooks Central Library. The student is a 56-64 year old beginner motivated to learn Tagalog due to having friends in the Philippines. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.

Requirements

• Native Tagalog speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Memphis, TN).
• Availability for lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm.
• Ability to start as soon as possible.
• Submit CV with references (if available).
