About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a Vietnamese Language Teacher for a client in Pittsburgh, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one conversational course with a beginner student aged 25-34. The total hours are 20, with sessions lasting two hours each. The preferred location is the trainer's office or Brookline Public Library. The schedule is once per week, on Monday, Tuesday, or Saturday in the late afternoon/early evening. The start date is August 1, 2026. The student's motivation is to have conversations with Vietnamese in-laws.

Requirements

• Native Vietnamese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Pittsburgh, PA (zip code 15226).
• Ability to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.
