About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for its Minneapolis, Minnesota headquarters location. The officer patrols sensitive areas, monitors for suspicious activity and threats, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The role requires standing and walking throughout the shift and responding to alarms and incidents. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, on the first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an hourly wage of $23.10. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have Level 2 security experience.
• Hold Level 2 certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
