About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for armed flex security coverage in Carmel, Indiana. The role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, staying alert to potential risks, and protecting people and property. Officers move around throughout their shifts and may work first, second, or third shifts on a varying schedule. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
