About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Tactical Security Officer. This role requires a keen sense of observation, the ability to anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. The site location is Memphis, TN (Frayser). A valid Driver's License is required, and candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This is a part-time, 1st shift position with set hours from 4 am to 8 am. GardaWorld offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.93/Hour, with DailyPay available. The company also provides career growth opportunities and a uniform at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Have a state license if required

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
