About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Tactical Security Guard - Retail. This role requires an individual who can read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly, utilizing a keen sense of observation. Physical ability is essential as the role involves moving around the entire shift, patrolling various environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

Requirements

At least five years of security experience.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Must have baton permit.
Must have OC spray permit.
Must have handcuff permit.
State security license (BSIS Guard Card).
Additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during the hiring process).
Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification.
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at the assigned location.
Work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment.
Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Detain and search.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
