About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer - Retail. This role requires an individual who can observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at their assigned location. The officer must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in variable environments, provide rapid response in critical situations, and write detailed reports. They will enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards, patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity, react quickly to threats or incidents, detain and search individuals, document incidents and actions taken, respond to alarms, conduct on-site checks, and collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents to ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Requirements

At least five years of security experience.
21+ years of age.
Baton permit.
OC spray permit.
Handcuff permit.
State security license (BSIS Guard Card).
Additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during the hiring process).
Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification is an asset.
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience.
