About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for a full-time position in Carmel, Indiana. The role requires keen observation, awareness of surroundings, and the ability to anticipate and respond to risks. Officers move throughout their shifts and patrol sensitive environments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a competitive wage of $25 per hour.

The officer protects people and property by patrolling sensitive areas, controlling access, checking security systems, documenting incidents, responding to alarms, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Possess at least one of the following: military service in a law-enforcement- or security-related occupational specialty or a support role in a combat zone; graduation from a certified public safety academy in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting; a bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice-related studies; at least four years of active service in any military branch; or an associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service.

Responsibilities
