About The Position

A Table Support Team Member creates a high-quality dining experience in Eataly’s restaurants by delivering meals accurately and on time and by organizing and cleaning tables. The role reports to the Service Leads and Assistant General Managers. The team member greets guests in an assigned area, pours beverages as requested, serves bread and olive oil, and runs food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guest tables. They check that food courses are complete and accurate, keep water glasses filled, clear used dishes and silverware, maintain clean tables and chairs, and reset vacated tables. They also assist servers, understand menu descriptions and ingredients, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Availability to work onsite on a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat with well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in the assigned service area.
Pour beverages as requested and serve bread and olive oil.
Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after checking that each course is complete and accurate.
Run beverages from the bar to guest tables and keep water glasses filled.
Remove used dishes and silverware between courses and after guests leave.
Clean tables and chairs in the assigned service area and reset vacated tables.
Assist servers when needed.
Understand food descriptions and ingredients of menu items.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
