About The Position

This role involves training to become a dealer in table games. Upon completion of the training period, trainees must be proficient in dealing at least one core game (Blackjack, Paigow, Roulette, Craps, or Baccarat) and one novelty game (Three Card Poker, Heads Up Hold’em, Cajun Stud, or High Card Flush). The position requires providing excellent customer service, creating a fun environment, and managing game operations according to established procedures. This includes handling transactions, ensuring game security, and adhering to all company policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully deal 1 core game (Blackjack, Paigow, Roulette, Craps, or Baccarat) and 1 novelty game (Three Card Poker, Heads Up Hold’em, Cajun Stud, or High Card Flush) by the end of the training period.
  • Ability to provide fast, flawless, personalized customer service.
  • Ability to create memorable service experiences and a fun-filled environment.
  • Ability to facilitate the game and explain rules to players.
  • Ability to conduct assigned game according to procedures.
  • Ability to compute pay-off odds to pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
  • Ability to exchange cash for gaming chips according to procedures.
  • Ability to audit and complete fills and credits on table games.
  • Ability to ensure game security.
  • Ability to inform Floor Supervisor and/or Box person of requests or unusual play.
  • Ability to issue the proper amount of gaming chips to players after credit authorization.
  • Adherence to established cash handling and accounting procedures.
  • Compliance with all departmental and company policies and regulations.
  • Maintenance of confidentiality regarding customer play.
  • Safe work practices.
  • Effective communication with co-workers, supervisors, and guests.
  • Adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inform the Floor Supervisor and/or Box person of any requests or unusual play.
  • Issue the proper amount of gaming chips to players after completion of credit authorization procedures.
  • Adhere to established cash handling and accounting procedures.
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies as well as all established regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding customer play.
  • Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
