About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Table Games department Executive Manager and above. Responsible for overall administration of all operations and functions of the Table Games department on a given shift, in alignment with the objectives and goals of the company and in full accordance with all company operational policies and procedures and gaming regulations. Salary, exempt, supervisory position.

  • Knowledge of Table Games operations, such as pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, such as fills, credits, and marker transactions as well as games.
  • Knowledge and understanding of departmental and GED internal controls, policies, and procedures as well as applicable gaming laws, ordinances, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Table Games experience with progressive supervisory experience, to include tribal gaming and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a Dual Rate Table Games Supervisor/Shift Manager or higher.
  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of the rules, policies and procedures of all casino table games offered.
  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the formulation of and helps administer departmental policies and activities to develop realistic short- and long-term goals and objectives for the department.
  • Responsible for the general management of all gaming operations of the assigned shift including but not limited to: actively monitoring table/shift win/loss, identifying advantage players, table utilization, limit management, and game spread. Responsible for fostering and encouraging an environment of fairness, consistency, professionalism, and mutual respect to all team members.
  • Reviews and recommends hiring, transfers, suspensions, terminations, and promotions of Table Games Team Members on assigned shift, as necessary.
  • Regularly reviews and evaluates Table Games departmental performance on assigned shift by working with the Dual-Rate Floor Supervisor/ Managers on their assigned shift to take appropriate steps in resolving unsatisfactory results or conditions and communicate those steps to Director of Table Games/Executive Table Games Manager in a timely manner.
  • Maintains appropriate department staffing levels using open and timely communication.
  • Confers with the Director of Table Games/Executive Table Games Manager to review achievements and discuss needed changes in goals or objectives resulting from current or projected future status or conditions.
  • Serves as a member of the management for Table Games and keeps open lines of communication with the Director of Table Games/Executive Table Games Manager including but not limited to: team member issues, team performance issues, TGO compliance related violations, guest incidents, unsatisfactory condition of gaming equipment, or any issue that could be considered unusual or detrimental to the department or the property.
  • Under the guidance of the Director of Table Games/Executive Table Games Manager, assists with development, design, implementation, and oversight of all Table Games training programs and seminars, directed at developing and enhancing Team Member skills. Maintains strong working knowledge of local jurisdiction Gaming Laws (Federal, Sate, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures optimal operational efficiency with continual contact and walk through observation of all areas of responsibility during assigned shift.
  • Responsible for setting priorities, monitoring performance, and development of the Dual Rate Floor Supervisor/Shift Manager on their assigned shift.
  • Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
  • Remains professional and refrains from engaging in or contributing to gossip and rumors that can be considered harmful to the department or the property.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Table Games/Executive Table Games Manager.
