The Table Games Dealer - D/R Floor Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and controlling gaming operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and tribal regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining the security of assigned table games, overseeing payouts and procedures, and ensuring the integrity of all games. The supervisor will handle customer and employee disputes with excellent customer service, manage monetary transactions and accounting for assigned tables, and maintain accountability for chips and player ratings. They will also be responsible for making table fills/credits, monitoring cash and chip transactions, identifying and reporting suspicious activity or collusion, and assisting the Pit Manager in managing patrons. Additionally, the supervisor will evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and make recommendations for recruitment, hiring, training, and discipline. Effective communication with incoming and outgoing supervisors, employees, and patrons is crucial, as is maintaining a professional and clean environment. The role requires meeting attendance guidelines, adhering to policies, attending training, and assisting with other projects as directed. The supervisor acts as a role model, presenting themselves as a credit to Downstream Casino Resort and the Table Games Department.
