About The Position

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the development of test plans, test scripts and test cases and executing these against the various components. The tester will work with the testing lead and IT lead of each project as well as the project team members in the analysis, design, development, implementation and ongoing support of the required systems. This role involves executing functional, integration, system, and regression tests, validating system behavior under various conditions, and identifying and documenting software defects. The specialist will collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues, develop and maintain automated test scripts, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and conduct performance, stress, and load testing. A strong understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations is required. The role also includes collaborating with various stakeholders, participating in Agile ceremonies, maintaining documentation, providing input for user manuals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

8+ years of experience working as a Software QA Tester
Experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM application is a strong asset
Experience working on Siebel Test Automation is an asset
Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset
Experience with defect tracking tool like Jira / Azure DevOps
At least 7+ years of experience designing solutions with Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM technologies
Experience with developing business design document, functional & non- functional requirements
Experience with developing high level application flows to support the business requirements.
Experience in developing functional design document
Experience in creating detailed process flows, developing high-level screen designs that map steps within a process to actual views in software solutions
Experience with solutions and designs with user experience and accessibility (WCAG/AODA)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Experience developing user personas and user journey maps
Experience analyzing user feedback and designing solutions to address user issues and pain points
Experience creating wire frames and high-fidelity mockups with UI prototyping software such as Figma or Adobe XD
Experience researching and applying industry best practices
Demonstrated experience in developing use cases (business/system), identifying and documenting business rules
Demonstrated experience with the creation and analytical process of business requirement documents
Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions
Demonstrated experience with creating quality assurance plan and writing test cases
Demonstrated experience with change management methodologies
7+ years of experience in Siebel, and Adobe AEM Solution implementation
Demonstrated experience with documenting test strategies, scenarios, plans for user acceptance testing (UAT)

Demonstrated experience with rational unified process (RUP)
Experience in developing application view visibility and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) matrix
Experience with developing application screen mock-ups and screen flows; translate screen design and workflows into Wireframes and or prototype

Responsibilities
