About The Position

Luck Companies is seeking a customer service-oriented Systems Support Specialist to join its corporate office team. The role focuses on help desk, hardware, procurement, enablement, and production support. The specialist resolves technical problems using documented procedures and checklists, configures and installs hardware and software, and assists IT with the rollout and support of business technology initiatives.

The position is fully onsite at the corporate office in Manakin Sabot, Virginia, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional on-call Saturdays.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• One year of experience with Windows 2000, XP, Microsoft Office, and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, monitor, and maintain users' desktop software and hardware, including support for the mobile workforce.
• Set up user accounts, including user creation, rights, and profile setup.
• Assist as directed with installing and rolling out new and upgraded software packages and new desktop hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve application, hardware, and software problems using documented procedures, escalating uncommon issues to specialized support associates as needed.
• Monitor network and computer systems and report results to the appropriate IT associates.
• Document problems and resolutions using established procedures.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved and gather feedback on how support can be enhanced.
• Assist IT with the rollout and support of business technology initiatives.
