About the position
Forward Networks is seeking a Systems (Sales) Engineer to join their team. The company is revolutionizing network management by delivering a vendor-agnostic "digital twin" of the network based on a mathematical model. The platform serves as a single source of truth for the network, enabling network operators to verify security posture, troubleshoot, avoid outages, and modernize network management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of successful experience as a Sales Engineer selling to large enterprise accounts and will play a key role in driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales organization working with large enterprise accounts.
- Work with the sales team as the product advocate and key technical adviser.
- Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process; answer technical questions and communicate business and technical value to all levels of management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of successful experience as a Sales Engineer selling to large enterprise accounts
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in networking
- Ability to serve as the primary technical resource for the sales organization
- Experience working with large enterprise accounts
- Ability to advocate for the product and provide key technical advice
- Proficiency in driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Excellent communication skills to answer technical questions and communicate business and technical value to all levels of management
- Strong relationship-building skills to ensure complete customer satisfaction

- Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX (desirable)
