About The Position

Pavion is a global leader in providing innovative fire, security, and communication integration solutions across various industries including enterprise, healthcare, education, government, data center, and retail. They specialize in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, critical communications, video surveillance, access control, and advanced AV technologies. Pavion is seeking a talented and motivated Service Sales Professional to sell their suite of PX services, specifically focusing on Fire Alarm Test and Inspect services, to new and existing commercial building clients in the New England area. Target markets include Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, and State and Local Governments.

Requirements

  • Experience in the building systems install, service or sales space
  • 2 or 3 previous sales roles selling services and or intangible offerings
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
  • Collaborative communication skills with the ability to respectfully navigate objections internally and externally
  • Action oriented – used to 3 – 4 appointments a day IN MARKET

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience selling code compliant and value based service offerings
  • Must be able to work in the elements, as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Activity based sales motions including canvassing existing customers through calls, appointments and being IN Market as much as possible
  • Develop clear understanding of life safety codes for compliance to NFPA 72 for Fire Alarm System Testing within assigned jurisdictions
  • Leveraging Data that results in effective time management to maximize calls, quotes and bookings to qualified clients
  • Demonstrated knowledge of each stage of the sales cycle and process
  • Strong CRM utilization skills for activity and pipeline management
  • Track open construction projects to attach services prior to completion
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management, and peers
  • Ability to make presentations to management, clients, others as directed
  • Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), company software and job required software/programs
  • Maintain professionalism in high stress situations
