Systems Integrator - EW&C

MAG Aerospace•Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

About The Position

Join a mission-critical team delivering an Army electromagnetic warfare capability. The Systems Integrator brings Spectrum Core onto government hardware and ensures reliable performance from controlled lab environments at APG to operational networks in CONUS and OCONUS. This hands-on role owns the lab-to-field integration pipeline and supports delivery of working software to operational Army formations. It involves extensive travel, direct engagement with brigade and division stakeholders, and cross-training in spectrum workflows within 60 days. The role leads system integration, develops and maintains deployment workflows and packages, integrates Airbase software with government systems, and implements automation for installation, monitoring, logging, and rollback. It also supports cybersecurity compliance, developmental and operational testing, Soldier touchpoints, ATEC onboarding, Gauntlet 3 events, and field operations. The successful candidate will cross-train in spectrum management fundamentals and support deployed operations with limited reach-back. AI tools may be used responsibly for technical assistance, with scripts tested in a sandbox and no CUI provided to public AI models. A bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required, with four years of equivalent military or industry experience accepted in lieu of the degree. An active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred. The position is contingent on meeting applicable physical and medical requirements. The annual salary range is $135,000–$185,000. MAG Aerospace offers a Total Rewards package for eligible employees, including health, life, disability, financial and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, and tuition assistance.

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerShell 5.1 and 7, including automation, packaging, secure execution, and scripting best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying executables in operational environments, including silent installation, service configuration, dependency and PATH management, code signing, AppLocker/WDAC compliance, and rollback or recovery strategies.
  • Strong Windows systems administration skills sufficient to support tactical operations center environments under field conditions.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining MSI/MSIX installers, signed binaries, services, scheduled tasks, and configuration baselines.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TLS, certificates, firewalls, and enclave boundary considerations.
  • Experience integrating systems or applications within government or large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, ACAS/NESSUS scanning, and RMF-aligned cybersecurity workflows.
  • Ability to support field test environments, operate in austere conditions, and travel as required.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear ICDs, configuration guides, and integration documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; four years of equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted.

  • Background in RF, EW, PNT, sensor integration, or C2 systems.
  • Prior experience in government program offices, engineering centers, or related R&D organizations.
  • Experience supporting builds with cybersecurity hardening requirements, including secure enclave configurations, ICAM practices, and certificate or key-material lifecycle management.
  • Prior support to operational units or government test organizations, with willingness to cross-train in spectrum management fundamentals.
  • A practical working automation script; formal systems-engineering certification is not required in preference to practical scripting experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.

  • Integrate Airbase software capabilities with designated government systems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and interoperability.
  • Design and implement automation for installation, system health monitoring, log collection, and rollback processes.
  • Establish scripting standards that ensure repeatability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the ISSO to implement STIG requirements and resolve security scan findings; ensure integration work meets cybersecurity and compliance standards.
  • Provide on-site and remote support for DT, OT, Soldier touchpoints, ATEC onboarding, and Gauntlet 3 events.
  • Participate in range activities and field operations as required.
  • Prepare, verify, and ship pre-positioned knowledge bases and load packages to supported units.
  • Achieve spectrum-management cross-training proficiency within 60 days, including SXXI report interpretation, DD Form 1494 lifecycle stages, and approval workflows.
