About The Position

DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, develops proprietary radar solutions and legacy avionics systems for the global defense industry. The Systems Integration & Test Support Engineer II provides hands-on technical support for configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, and testing radar systems and associated hardware, software, and network interfaces. The engineer independently completes assigned support activities using established requirements, procedures, and engineering guidance, helping maintain test readiness, investigate system issues, execute integration and verification tests, and document results. Broader system designs, complex technical decisions, and integration strategy are guided by experienced engineers. The position supports integration activities in lab and field settings and involves hardware and software testing, system configuration, troubleshooting, test-readiness support, issue investigation, and documentation. It is not limited to test execution and is not primarily a software development, software QA, network administration, or people-management role. The role is based in Germantown, Maryland, and follows a first-shift 9/80 schedule. U.S. citizenship is required, as is an active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
