About The Position

Each Watchfire sign is manufactured, assembled, and configured to meet the customer’s specific needs. Systems Integration Technicians perform the final integration of complex computerized, electronic, and mechanical systems. They complete final product inspections, including electronic testing, troubleshooting, repair, and review and approval of final system documentation. The team is responsible for the final level of customization, integration, and quality. Sign systems use internal wiring and setups similar to office networks, including Ethernet switches and cabling, often Wi-Fi communication setups, industrial-grade web cameras, and other components. Solid networking skills are therefore critical. This position is based in a production (factory) setting.

Requirements

Ability to work productively without close direct supervision.
Ability to perform regular physical activity throughout most working hours, work on ladders and in lift platforms, and work outside.
Ability to lift moderately and, rarely, move equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
Solid Microsoft Office skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future are not considered.

Associate degree.

Responsibilities

Complete electrical safety testing required for UL approval and customer safety.
Complete final integration, power-up, burn-in, and quality inspection of completed signs before shipment.
Research and troubleshoot errors, setup configuration changes, early failures, and component installation difficulties.
Review and assess production methods for ongoing compliance with quality standards and recommend improvements.
Train new production workers in the technical aspects of production jobs.
Monitor training and recommend final approval of employees’ qualifications.
Review current training documents and methods and assist with new documentation as needed.
