About The Position

ENSCO is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to work directly with Government mission leaders and independently governed program teams delivering elements of a critical space mission capability. The role builds trusted relationships and shared technical evidence across organizations that may have different architecture visions, acquisition paths, technical baselines, funding profiles, and delivery schedules. The position supports the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort for the Space Force’s Space System Command. MSEIT provides systems engineering and integration support for the acquisition of Military Satellite Communications systems that deliver global, secure, survivable, and protected communications. The position is on-site in a secure facility due to customer security requirements and requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.
At least 8 years of engineering work experience, including at least 5 years in systems engineering involving areas such as requirements management and technical-baseline development; test planning, integration, and execution; verification; and validation.
Experience developing or managing requirements documents, specifications, or Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for complex systems.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Active DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to work on-site in a secure facility due to customer security requirements.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.
Experience working with or on MILSATCOM programs such as AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, or FAB-T terminal programs.
Experience working with military personnel and DoD civilians.
Experience with ground and space systems, such as terminals and networks.
Knowledge and experience in Agile Development and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Professional certifications such as PMP or INCOSE CSEP/ESEP/ASEP.
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement integration strategies and processes for satellite communication systems and their ground, space, crypto, and terminal segments, subsystems, elements, and components; manage technical baselines among stakeholders.
Analyze system requirements that define the technical baseline and verify the technical baseline.
Apply Digital Engineering methods and modeling strategies, including digital twins, to support integration and test activities.
Work with Government and contractor personnel to close customer-requirement gaps and support major requirements reviews, design reviews, and related meetings.
Lead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings by developing briefings, leading discussions, and writing minutes to address or resolve risks, issues, and action items.
Review proposed technical-baseline changes for impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder integration.
Define and deliver alternative solutions to integration challenges, managing schedule impacts and product delivery.
Facilitate reviews of contractor-developed program documents by performing technical assessments, providing comments, compiling review-team comments, and working with contractors to adjudicate comments.
Serve as a subject matter expert by assessing technical issues, preparing briefings for U.S. Space Force program office personnel and other stakeholders, and providing courses of action to support Government decisions.
Support management of risks, issues, and interdependencies; identify schedule disconnects and conflicts, develop action plans, and assist the Government in executing selected solutions.
