About The Position

This role involves systems integration engineering with a focus on security and cloud environments. The engineer will be responsible for integrating various systems, ensuring security best practices are followed, and potentially working with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code. Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph are mandatory for this position.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
  • Must have five (05) years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • Must have an IAT Tier 1 certification, such as Security+ CE.
  • Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
  • Must have experience in network or system administration.
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
  • Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
  • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
  • Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible.
  • Experience with system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with SELinix and FIPS.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate various systems and technologies.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Perform network or system administration tasks.
  • Support hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
  • Set up storage solutions like network-attached storage.
  • Utilize Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
  • Deploy and maintain nginx.
  • Work with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
  • Operate within cloud computing environments like AWS.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products such as Terraform, SALT, and Ansible.
  • Implement system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Work with SELinux and FIPS.
