About The Position

Daimler Truck North America is hiring a Systems Integration Engineer III for its Autonomous Technology Group Powernet team in Portland, Oregon. The team develops low-voltage power architecture for the Freightliner Cascadia autonomous platform, supporting power generation, distribution, conversion, and energy storage. Its work enables SAE Level 4 driving within defined Operational Design Domains. The role serves as the lead software developer for the Intelligent Power Distribution Modules (IPDM) and related architecture. These systems help maintain vehicle health, control loads for the autonomous driver, and support base-level motion control in an ASIL context. The engineer develops and maintains software component models, coordinates with suppliers and internal global partners, and supports software integration, verification, troubleshooting, and release activities. Work follows established lifecycle practices and DTNA processes, with engineer review of AI-assisted work and safety-critical deliverables. The position is hybrid in Portland, Oregon, with four days per week in the office and one day remote. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.
