Systems Eng Manager

Honeywell Aerospace•Lansdale, PA

About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team developing advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions for air, land, and maritime platforms. The manager will provide technical and organizational leadership across development programs and independent research initiatives, shape technical strategy, guide program execution, and develop engineering talent. The organization designs and develops major subsystems and small-scale systems, primarily in RF Electronic Warfare, including Radar Warning, Situational Awareness, Interferometry/Direction Finding, Electronic Attack, and RF Countermeasure systems. The role is responsible for leading key project segments and ensuring department personnel achieve schedule and technical performance objectives. It calls for a structured approach to design, estimation, execution, and performance tracking, with emphasis on meeting performance and lifecycle requirements within budget and schedule constraints. Work may involve technical research, testing, documentation, presentations, and circuit analysis for system-level specifications or RF components. The manager works closely with other engineering disciplines and organizational functions to deliver quality products on time and on budget. The position also contributes to technical planning, system architecture, cost estimation, work breakdown structures, trade studies, technology roadmaps, and Internal Research & Development (IRAD) investment strategies. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for clearance processing for this role. Occasional travel may be required for customer, industry, or program activities.
