Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in System engineering Aircraft Electric Power System design (generation, distribution, communications, or BITE) with experience in requirements generation, requirements validation, requirements management, simulation development, system verification planning, and system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers, project teams, chief engineers, and program offices to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
  • Manage and decompose requirements, and ensure proper flow down to various systems and components.
  • Contribute to both preliminary and detailed design phases, ensuring designs meet program requirements and customer specifications.
  • Conduct development and qualification testing to validate system performance.
  • Generate system and LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) requirements documents.
  • Create and integrate controller models using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Perform electric system load analysis.
  • Validate high-level requirements and conduct testing on desktop simulations.
  • Establish verification methodologies to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate test facility requirements and support test planning.
  • Oversee system integration and subsystem-level testing in development test facilities.
  • Support aircraft and customer lab testing as required.
  • Execute system engineering standard work (SW) and processes.
  • Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing team as needed.
