The Systems Engineer defines, decomposes, traces, and verifies requirements and interfaces across simulation software, hardware, training workflows, and supporting infrastructure. The role applies Cameo and SysML model-based systems engineering to requirements, use cases, structure, behavior, interfaces, and traceability. It supports CH-53K ownship software and SysML modeling for rotary-wing flight simulation, connecting training needs to system architecture, behavior, and verification planning for CH-53K and MH-60R/CG use cases. The position supports simulation of pilot maneuvers, normal and emergency procedures, aircraft-system behavior, malfunctions, mission scenarios, recording, replay, and after-action review. It also supports simulator hardware and software interfaces for integrated training capabilities; integration, test, verification, validation, troubleshooting, and technical baseline management; and the use of Python and AI-assisted engineering tools for analysis, documentation, and development support. Working C++ knowledge is used to collaborate with software teams and understand implementation constraints.
