About The Position

Pratt & Whitney’s Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization develops and certifies control and diagnostic systems for military and commercial gas turbine engines. Its work spans requirements analysis and definition, system and software architecture, algorithm design, product software design, verification and validation, and engine and flight test support. CDS is seeking a motivated, team-oriented, results-driven Senior Engineer to design, develop, and implement solutions for controlling dynamic mechanical, power, and electrical systems. The role decomposes system-level and customer interface requirements into system or software requirements and designs, conducts iterative prototype testing and design reviews, and performs software verification, including regression analysis, test-case and test-script development, and evaluation of results. English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking is required when communicating with customers, coworkers, or supervisors who speak only English. Travel may be up to 10%.
