Position Summary
Reporting to the Software Development Group Manager, the Systems Engineer is responsible for the technology vision and product definition of reflectometry products. Acting as the technical leader, this individual defines the overall system architecture, decomposes systems into subsystems, and ensures successful integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant R&D experience
• Demonstrated experience in system architecture
• Knowledge of instrumentation, imaging, optics/photonics, and acquisition electronics
• Strong understanding of signal processing concepts
• Proven technical leadership and complex problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• French: Functional
• English: Advanced (international business environment)

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall system architecture
• Provide technical leadership and drive the technology roadmap
• Decompose systems into subsystems and coordinate integration activities
• Perform trade-off analyses and recommend optimal technical solutions
• Define system requirements and ensure traceability
• Oversee verification, validation, and risk management activities
• Support development teams and participate in design reviews
• Document R&D activities and contribute to continuous product improvement.
