About The Position

ITC is seeking a Senior-Level GEOINT Systems Engineer to support enterprise transformation initiatives across GEOINT mission systems and projects. The role involves hands-on work across the Systems Engineering and Integration Lifecycle, including architecture, requirements, CONOPS, integration, testing, and transition. The engineer will apply knowledge of GEOINT Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) Architecture to strategic enterprise architecture and technical planning, engineering analyses, and cross-organization coordination intended to modernize GEOINT architecture and advance mission capabilities. As part of the Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Division’s Integration Team, the engineer will work with engineers and integrators at multiple levels to perform architecture gap analyses, enterprise requirements analyses, analyses of alternatives, courses of action, and trade studies. The team’s recommendations inform investment decisions, including system divestitures and consolidation. The engineer will support integration across NGA Program Executive Offices, help synchronize activities, and document the enterprise baseline, including architecture, requirements, and interfaces. The role also includes leading end-to-end integration projects between NGA and Mission Partners, from project planning through Transition to Operations (TTO), and working in NGA’s Digital Engineering Environment to facilitate integrated project plans, requirements, epics, target-state architectures, CONOPS, and roadmaps. The engineer will lead or participate in cross-organizational Integrated Project Teams focused on modernization of Analytic, Collection Management, Data Services, Foundation GEOINT, and Information Technology capabilities. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and at least 12 years of relevant experience. A qualifying degree or equivalent additional experience is required.

  • Experience or working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.

Responsibilities

  • Perform architecture gap analysis and develop the Future State Enterprise Architecture.
  • Conduct engineering analyses to inform GEOINT mission and IT capability investment decisions in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture baseline.
  • Conduct baseline analysis, allocate requirements to systems architecture components, and execute programs and end-to-end traceability of requirements and architecture.
  • Capture and translate mission and customer requirements and needs into systems or capability requirements and solutions.
  • Perform systems integration activities across organizations.
  • Lead and participate in integrated project teams, driving development of project plans, architecture and engineering artifacts such as CONOPS, roadmaps, schedules, and risk documentation.
  • Lead or participate in Analyses of Alternatives, Courses of Action, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
  • Provide thought leadership, identify opportunities to expand team scope, and define project plans covering tasking, deliverables, and execution timelines.
  • Participate in NGA Governance, Configuration Management, and Risk Management processes.
