Position Summary: HII: Mission Technologies is seeking a System Engineer Senior to join our team in Mary Esther, Florida, to provide systems engineering design, development, integration and fielding support, including research, collaboration, authoring and maintaining standardized specifications, configurations and implementing virtual, physical and cloud-based services and enabling configurations as part of the Worldwide Warfighter Network (WWN) Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, hardening, and sustaining hybrid service architectures (physical, virtual and cloud-based) comprised of Windows and RHEL servers in support of a global enterprise service architecture across multiple classifications in support of a wide range of services and expanding use cases. Duties will include: Lead systems engineering activities for Warfighter Worldwide Network (WWN). Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify service end user requirements, decompose to identify system requirements, technical performance parameters, and attributes to develop specifications and provide detailed technical Analysis of Alternatives. Lead the presentation of technical approach, standards to be employed within the solution and development of the initial solution with emphasis on supporting material solution performance attributes and specifications, development and engineering timelines to support buildout, integration, testing, and internal performance validation of the baseline performance standards through Development and Operational Testing (DT/OT) through initial fielding of the operational capabilities, and incremental service releases. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, (DoDAF Diagrams), Interface Control Documents, Ports, Protocols and Services Management and Hardware and Software baselines and related performance specification. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as required. Participate in research, analysis, I&T, Developmental and Operational Testing Events, User Acceptance Test events, while serving in a Tier-3 capacity in events where service and performance are degraded or lost after fielding. May assist management in definition of project scope and sequence of engineering and integration objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. Coordinating amongst various teams in different engineering disciplines to present a unified, integrated product to project stakeholders. Performing risk management to minimize project risks including leading AoA with emphasis on customer requirements.
