About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with extensive systems engineering expertise to support programs in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves gathering and translating customer requirements into system specifications, conducting process engineering for efficiency improvements, analyzing user needs and system architectures, and providing technical support throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will guide stakeholders, recommend technical approaches, perform feasibility studies, and develop comprehensive technical documentation. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders is essential for successful system integration, validation, and verification.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of systems engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (additional experience may be substituted where applicable)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and translate customer requirements into actionable system specifications
  • Conduct process engineering activities to improve workflows, efficiency, and system performance
  • Analyze user requirements, CONOPS documentation, and high-level system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications
  • Guide stakeholders in requirements development, recommend alternative technical approaches, and perform feasibility studies
  • Provide technical support for requirements integration, system design, and technology implementation
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation
  • Prepare and evaluate systems engineering management plans, integration plans, and test plans
  • Coordinate with government and program stakeholders to address technical considerations, issues, and resolution strategies
  • Support system integration, validation, and verification efforts throughout the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of system capabilities
