About The Position

CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join their People Systems team. In this role, the Systems Engineer will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the critical HR systems landscape, including but not limited to Workday, Greenhouse, Lattice, and CultureAmp. The role requires leveraging deep technical expertise and understanding of HR processes to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of HR technology solutions, supporting a global workforce. The Systems Engineer will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with HR, finance, payroll stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems, with hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits and Payroll.
  • Experience with Workday reporting, security, business processes, and integrations.
  • Experience participating in system implementations, enhancements, or optimization initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs) is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS governance, SOX controls, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Love to work across complex HR systems and solve integration challenges end-to-end
  • Curious about optimizing HR technology, automation, and scalable system design
  • An expert in Workday configuration, reporting, and HRIS data management

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and configure HR systems, including Workday HCM (Human Capital Management, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits), Payroll, and other related platforms.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to drive system enhancements and process automation.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Manage Workday security roles, user permissions, and compliance configurations.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs.
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations.
  • Participate in Workday system upgrades, testing, and release management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues, working with internal teams and Workday support.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on Workday enhancements, trends, and best practices to optimize system performance.
