About The Position

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to systems engineering activities. Interns will help define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements. The role involves technical coordination, reviews, testing support, and follow-up on action items across teams, working closely with hardware, software, and validation stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. A key part of the internship includes supporting laboratory validation activities, such as developing Python-based test scripts for automating measurements, controlling test equipment, and collecting data. Interns will also assist with testing and characterization of UWB devices, antennas, and related wireless system components, and help prepare reports, specifications, and project records for visibility and traceability. The position emphasizes structured problem-solving, effective communication, and contributing to system quality.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term. If graduating prior to July 2027, apply to Entry Level full-time roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
  • Basic programming experience in Python and interest in test automation, data analysis, or instrument control is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to RF, wireless systems, antennas, or laboratory test equipment is a plus.
