We are seeking an entry level Systems Engineer at the Bangor Naval Base - Kitsap in Silverdale, Washington to provide Technical/Engineering support to Navy and Lockheed Martin Customers in performance of D5 Missile Support Systems such as Crane, Support Equipment, Handling and Transportation Equipment for operational use in our FBM Program. The position will involve extensive travel with approximately 40% of you time spent in our Flagstaff, AZ or Salt lake City, UT sites and 60% in Silverdale, WA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering degree program (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.) from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret prior to starting employment and ability to maintain a final DoD Secret security clearance
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems
  • Have recent/current security clearance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
