About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Project Engineer. In this role, you will support the Project Lead with technical product facilitation, technical product reviews, and other program execution tasking/tracking. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems integration, agile practices, and working with cross-functional engineering teams. Depending on Program need and staffing opportunities, this role could alternatively support other Ship I&T Domestic Project combat system integration portfolios such as DDG AMOD / Backfit, DDG Post Delivery, Aegis Ashore (AA), Frigate (FFX), Litterial Combat Ship (LCS), and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC). This position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, and exceptional teamwork skills.
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel ~15% of time.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
